Descriptive Personal Statement:
I am Cherlynn Rungsiriteerakarn, and an 18-year-old paramedicine student with a strong passion for both the medical field and education. Throughout high school, I consistently excelled in English, earning a Certificate of Academic Excellence and maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA in the subject. I was also fortunate to be an exchange student under the EnGenius 2023-2024 program in the United States, where I experienced full language immersion and cross-cultural communication firsthand.
My motivation for tutoring comes from my belief that education has the power to change lives. I have taught English to primary school students and volunteered for the YMCA English Camp, helping underprivileged children build their confidence in the language. These experiences have shown me how rewarding it is to help others learn and grow.
As a tutor, I want to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I understand that learning a language can be challenging, so I focus on making lessons interactive and practical. My background in paramedicine has also strengthened my problem-solving and adaptability skills, which I bring into my teaching. I am excited about the opportunity to help students improve their English and develop a love for learning.
